Vadim Gluzman, violin David Danzmayr, conductor Silvestrov - Hymne - 2001 for String Orchestra Tchaikovsky - Violin Concerto Brahms - Symphony No. 2 Artistic leaders David and Vadim reunite for our season finale! Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov\'s moving \"Hymne - 2001\" opens the program. Vadim performs Tchaikovsky\'s \"Violin Concerto,\" one of the most celebrated works of the violin repertoire, on the \'ex-Leopold Auer\' Stradivari, for which the concerto was composed. David conducts Brahms\' \"Symphony No. 2\" to end the season with cheerful triumph and majestic glory.
